Jason Valalik has produced a very useful video showing how you can have the best of both worlds i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote. Because there are things PowerPoint does well that are not available in Keynote and vice versa.

There’s a competition being organized by slideshare where you need to tell a story in 30 slides or less. There are some great presentations already on slideshare so it’s worth checking the site out for design ideas.
